I’ve Written Fifty Letters To You

A poem reflecting on my season of heartbreak. I always find myself writing letters to you that I will never send.

10/24/2019

I’ve written fifty letters to you.

I’ve written down every thought.

I’ve written my five stages of grief

I’ve written down a lot.

I’ve written fifty letters to you.

I’ve written down my hate.

I’ve written my love stories

I’ve written down too late.

I’ve written fifty letters to you

that you will never read

because this is all just in my head

and this is just a bad dream.
