Can I let you in on a secret, sis?
I want to make the thing I love doing most into something I can afford to all day every day, and I desire the same thing for you. I want to sit with people where ever they are and find resources that will help build them from the inside out. I want my office to be where ever in the world I feel called and my co-workers to be coffee shop baristas and dreamers. I know it might have confused you a little if you received my intro email or saw any of my content that said the word “business.” This may turn you off because you think I am about to spam you with products and advertisements, but that is not my style, and I encourage you to keep reading.
I have nothing to sell.
I have never been a salesperson. I’m not particularly eager to sell things. As much as I love to influence and teach, my goal is never to force or portray something I don’t believe in.
So I am not here to sell you anything, at least I don’t feel called to that right now. I would much rather create a brand and a community that feels like I am sitting across the table from you. I want you to feel safe and seen in your inbox and on your social media, even if it just for a moment. I find value in sharing life together and overcoming the lack of connection that my generation feeds.
The mindset is, “Dont Sell. Serve.”
What serving looks like to me.
My mom will tell you straight up that I was not blessed with the gift of being a caretaker. My best friends will tell you that my proficiency in taking care of plants and animals is below average. And my past church leaders will tell you that my inability to be a follower was extremely stressful for them.
I may not serve well in all areas of life, but NONE of us do! Service looks different for every single person. Some people have a heart for the elderly and others a passion for refugee outreach. Although I love to give to this when I can, my heart doesn’t long to serve in that way.
My heart absolutely overflows when I get to pour out encouragement and knowledge to someone. If someone is crushing it, I want to pop the champagne, bake a cake, confetti cannon their life. When someone feels stuck, I will be the first one pushing on their butt to get them through that hole or over that hurdle. When someone feels unseen and utterly unsure of who they are or what they are called to be, I love to connect to what truths they do hold and grow those into beautiful affirmations.
I was created to serve uniquely and intentionally that I hope helps you find your wonder, empowerment, and voice.
What does this mean for you?
This means you don’t have to be anything for me that you aren’t ready to be. If you are struggling in your spirituality, heartbroken, unmotivated, confused. If you are flourishing, thriving, crushing it, and straight-up kicking butts and taking names. You are safe and seen. I can’t carry it all for you, and I can’t be the only source of encouragement you rely on. That’s heavy for me, but I sure as heck want to hold you as you navigate your steps and cheer with you when you celebrate. I’m not perfect, and I will mess up, but life is messy, so I might as well embrace it!
